Where are you based? I divide my time between the UK and Africa, where most of my clients are. Engagements are conducted on-site where appropriate, and remotely where not. I have worked across Ghana, Zambia, Kenya, Rwanda, and Nigeria, and I am comfortable operating anywhere on the continent.
How quickly can you start? For advisory and strategy work, typically within two to three weeks of contract signing. For on-site management engagements, usually four to six weeks.
Do you work with hotels of all sizes? Yes. My work has ranged from 100-room independent hotels to 400-room international branded properties. What matters is whether the challenge is one I can genuinely help with, not the size of the property.
What do you charge? Fees depend on the scope and type of engagement. I am always transparent about cost from the first conversation. Project fees, day rates, monthly retainers, and recruitment success fees are all used depending on what is most appropriate. Nothing is invoiced without a signed agreement.
